Bob, together with his partner Kaaren (1/4 Norwegian), asked at the end of October last year to be allowed to visit the W-house. This is out of season, but the chair of our board, Eli, kindly volunteered as a guide. Bob taught philosophy at Yale in the 70s and had a long-standing fascination with Skjolden.

Bob and Kaaren were delighted to visit the W-house and to learn about the foundation and its idealistic work. This resulted in him wanting to follow us and Our initiatives further with support. He asked for an overview of financial needs and he was given a list with a budget for 6 projects we have underway.

This resulted in the generous sponsorship. With his expressed interest in our further work, we have established a close and good constructive dialogue with Bob, very inspiring for the future.
